Samsung DVD-V8500 DVD/VCR Combo review:
5 stars (Very nice for a combo ) - I was looking for a good DVD player, but am still holding on to the VCR idea and love my tape collection. I know for the hardcore DVD viewer, this would not be considered, but was great for me. The instruction manual is easy to use. Installation was easy. However, in order to hook it up to an HDTV, you need an extra set of cables (not included). The remote is easy to use. I am unable to set this up to my cable remote, as the codes I entered did not work. No big deal, the Samsung remote is easy to use. I would recommend this model to anyone buying a VCR/DVD combo.
